Slaughter sows

In addition to slaughter pigs, VAEX also generates a high economic value for slaughter sows. Each week, the sows from various breeders are brought together at collection centres and sold in the domestic market or exported to Belgium and Germany. The VAEX Group also acts as intermediaries for sows from other European countries. Since we personally supervise the selection procedure, we obtain the maximum potential offered by each sow.

Slaughter piglets

Each week, slaughter piglets are collected together with the sows. By means of a correct division between quality and weight, VAEX can generate a high economic value for this side product through its European network.
